News: August 28, 2012 Faroe Petroleum Lands Additional Barents Sea Acreage But Disappointed By Cooper Well Result Shares in Faroe Petroleum dipped last week after the AIM-quoted E&P announced disappointing well results from the Cooper prospect in the Norwegian Sea.  The well, in which Faroe has a 30 per cent interest alongside Centrica and Suncor, found oil in a sizeable slug of the primary Middle Jurassic targets and thinner sands in the secondary Cretaceous targets but failed to flow during a testing.
