Women in Mining (UK) is taking part in the British 10k run on Sunday 8 July - are you up for the challenge?
The British 10K is the UK's leading 10K road race and is staged on the world's greatest route taking you past some of the country's greatest landmarks including Big Ben, The London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Westminster Abbey. Click here for more info.
Spaces are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis by replying to info@womeninmining.org.uk. All funds raised will go to the Julian Baring Scholarship Fund set up in 2000 by Justin Baring in memory of his father, Julian, a well known and successful fund manager concentrating on the mining and gold sectors. The scholarship fund selects and sponsors African students who are financially disadvantaged and would not otherwise get access to such funding, to continue their studies at leading Universities and pursue a career in the mining industry. WIM (UK) aim to raise sufficient funds to sponsor a female student through their studies.

Participants will be required to cover the £50 initial entry fee with a target for fundraising of £200 per person. Details on how to pay your entry fee will be provided.
