BEA News: Gross Domestic Product for Guam, 2008 and 2009 and revised estimates for 2002 to 2007

The U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) has issued the following news release today:

The estimates for Guam show that real GDP -- GDP adjusted to remove price changes -- increased 1.7 percent in 2009 after increasing 0.5 percent in 2008. For comparison, real GDP for the U.S. (excluding the territories) decreased 2.6 percent in 2009 after remaining unchanged in 2008.
