Minesite Weekly Roundup 7th - 14th October 2013
Dear Minesite subscriber,
Weekly Review

This week's Minesite forum, to be held on Thursday 17th, will offer a fascinating insight into the future direction of a market which no-one doubts is weak, but which some people now think is destined for a sustained period in the doldrums.

In such an environment, with gold range-bound between US$1,250 and US$1,400 and base metals skittish in the face of slowing Chinese consumption and US political chaos, stock picking becomes all-important.

But how to do pick the right companies? First, set the scene.

Our forum will be opened with a talk from John Meyer, a partner at SP Angel, and a man with many years of corporate broking and mining analysis to his name.

He will then be followed by Kefi Minerals, Condor Gold, and King River Copper, all of which have delivered outstanding share price performances at a time when most companies in the sector have been hunkering down and harking back to the GFC – now more than five years ago.

Condor's shares have more than quadrupled in the past three years, as it's moved forward with its La India gold project in Nicaragua, adding ounces by the million and making great strides towards demonstrating economic viability.

Kefi's shares recently jumped by around 50 per cent as it announced good looking drill results from its gold project in Saudi Arabia. There should be more to come too, as drilling is continuing.

And King River's shares have soared on the ASX, after it re-focussed its energies away from specialty metals towards base metals on the Speewah Dome in Western Australia. Since July, when the market began to wake up to the transformation, the shares have just about tripled.

In addition we'll also be hearing from CSR21, a specialist in corporate social responsibility, which in this day and age features prominently in any company's plans to develop and produce metals from any project anywhere in the world.

It's a group of people who will demonstrate that even when the market is against you, success is possible, and furthermore it can be built upon.
