With its Garden Hill oilfield in western Newfoundland serially disappointing, Enegi has worked hard over the past year to diversify the risk profile. You wouldn't know it from the ailing share price but the company has now diversified into early stage exploration projects in Ireland and Jordan and signed a joint venture to develop marginal offshore oilfields with technology provider ABTechnology. Full story... News: June 12, 2013 Shares in Plexus Holdings, the specialist wellhead supplier, may have eased back from the highs of six months ago but the company is still adding to its order book. This week the AIM-quoted company landed a £2 million contract to support Norway's DNO in the drilling of two high pressure, high temperature (HP/HT) exploration wells in Norwegian waters. Revenues will start next month and extend over a 12 to 18 month period Full story... News: June 11, 2013 It's now over ten years since Regal Petroleum joined AIM and what a rollercoaster ride it has been. After the Greek debacle, the Frank Timis years, the poor results from its tight gas fields in Ukraine, the legal tussles and the production suspension that almost broke it, the AIM-quoted company finally appears to be on a more even footing and is even turning a profit Full story... News: June 11, 2013 Talking, or rather writing, about Trinidad and how it has become a magnet for junior oil and gas groups like ASX and AIM listed Range Resources, as we have done recently, inevitably leads us to Leni Gas & Oil. Together with Range and Trinity Exploration and Production, Leni makes up the trio of AIM listed juniors who have concentrated on the Caribbean island as their main area of activity Full story... News: June 10, 2013 It's almost a year now since Andes Energia demerged its electricity and E&P businesses. The intervening 12 months have been characterised by a paper-backed spending splurge to build an E&P portfolio with critical mass and overcome investor jitters about the exposure to Argentina. Full story... News: June 10, 2013 For almost about exactly a year now ASX and AIM listed Range Resources has been in a whirl of activity including high, medium and low impact drilling on various assets. It has launched an important asset sale and an also a putative merger as well as farmed into new acreage in Latin America. All or even some of these moves should have seen the company climb from being a small cap (market cap £81.1 million) to getting on the lower slopes of becoming a mid- tier group with a broad portfolio both geographically and geologically. Full story... Market Overview: June 07, 2013 The market is expecting good news on the American employment situation and this helped keep traders busy and interested all week. The monthly jobs report for May is indicating good news and in early trading on Friday Brent crude is close to US$104 with WTI trading around US$95 a barrel. |
